WrapCCA Pantry Needs

CCA provides a pantry to supplement our program participants food, paper, cleaning and hygiene product needs. This allows them to stretch their budgets further, pay down additional debt and get to a solid financial foundation sooner.

The pantry is organized and maintained by several angles from St. Teresa of Avila who weekly check stock, fill requests and run to warehouse/distribution centers when called to claim overstock or donated cases.

The pantry is supplied by members of the community at large as well; churches, school groups, companies and individuals all come together to keep our shelves stocked so we can in turn help stock the shelves of our participants. For a printable list of the items we currently have the highest need, visit our hot list page.

Beyond these items, we are often times looking for vacuums, appropriate furniture (we have limits on size and quantity), small and large appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, gas stoves, clothes washers and gas dryers). Please call the Spring Valley front desk to ask about these items if you have them in good, working condition.

One other food gift opportunity CCA can help with is leftover prepared food from banquets or dinners. Many times, groups have a catered/prepared breakfast, lunch or dinner that has a quantity not uses. Since we have many families living at Spring Valley, we can take these donated items to share with the families. If you have any questions about what is appropriate to bring, please call the Spring Valley front desk.
